Inspiration
Having travelled to central Australia on many occasions this painting was inspired by the desert sands. As we flew over Uluru the vastness and sameness that lay beyond captured my imagination. Whilst it seems endless, the variety, and colours are subtle. The light dancing across the desert floor. I feel fortunate that during my time there I sat with the traditional owners of this incredible land as they described the stories told through painting. The colours coming from the land.
